The lineage of Josiah Huntley Wilder: Thomas Wilder and Anna Eames - Nathaniel Wilder and Mary Sawyer - - Nathaniel Wilder Jr. and Damris Whitcomb - - - Elias Wilder and Abigail Rice - - - - Elias Wilder Jr. and Dolly (last name unknown) - - - - - Artemas Wilder and Dolly Crowninshield - - - - - - Elias Wilder and Teresa "Turzah" Fuller - - - - - - - James Hill Wilder and Caroline Huntley - - - - - - - - Josiah Huntley Wilder Josiah worked as a water well driller and lived in Red Bluff for many years. He was fondly referred to by family as "Daddy Joe". He was particularly close to his brothers Abner and John, and sisters Lillian and Sally. Sometime around 1930, Josiah moves in with his son Luke Mathew Wilder, where he will live until his passing in 1956. His second wife Lola Wilder moved to San Bernadino, California around the same time. |
