Josiah Huntley Wilder Josiah Huntley Wilder was born January 21, 1877 in Paskenta, California. He was the son of James Hill Wilder and Caroline Huntley. In 1896, Josiah married Stella Lee Zumwalt. Stella was born September 12, 1877 in Paskenta, California. She was the daughter of Lafayette and Susan Zumwalt. Stella passed away on October 7, 1900, a few years after her first child, Luke Mathew Wilder, was born. In 1904, Josiah married Lola Irene Raglin. Lola was born in 1885 in Medford, Oregon. She was the daughter of Isaac Raglin and Barbara Shoemaker. Josiah and Lola would have one child.

He was fondly referred to by family as "Daddy Joe". He was particularly close to his brothers Abner and John, and sisters Lillian and Sally. Sometime around 1930, Josiah moves in with his son Luke Mathew Wilder, where he will live until his passing in 1956. His second wife Lola Wilder moved to San Bernadino, California around the same time.

No childern came of this union.

Josiah passed away January 7, 1956 in Red Bluff, California. Stella Lee Zumwalt passed away
on October 7, 1900 in Paskenta, California. Lola Irene Raglin passed away November 5, 1956
in San Bernadino, California
